Born in Allahabad, the city of confluence of rivers the Ganges, the Yamuna and the divine river Saraswati, the artist imbibes the attributes of all the three rivers. Her paintings reflect eternal flow & purity of Ganges, the gravity of the Yamuna and the divine imagination of the river Saraswati.

Dr. Kalpana Kushwaha (Advocate) had acquired Master of Arts degree from University of Allahabad, once known as ‘Oxford of the East’. She not only excelled in her academics but also won laurels by many esteemed organizations/institutes including industries for her extra-curricular activities.

The artist’s research work on Rajasthani paintings had been awarded Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) degree in 2005, which cover the nitty-gritty of Rajasthani Art.

Her painting exhibited at National level exhibitions and recently held Shradhaanjali & contemporary art exhibition in Haridwar have been adored by cross-section of people including eminent artists and widely covered in leading Indian News Papers and have been centre of attraction during events.

Her style and language of brush & colour has the capability & power to depict themes in contemporary art as well as in traditional art.
